The Office of Local Government has today made payments to councils under the NSW Government’s $500,000 funding boost for pounds. Each of the State’s 128 councils have received a $4,000 grant in one payment this financial year to help meet veterinary, food and staff costs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding, which will help ensure pounds continue to remain viable and functional, can also be used for minor capital works including minor site upgrades, maintenance works or the purchasing of new equipment.
