38 year old man arrested at Batehaven tourist park charged with several offences

South Coast Police conducted a search warrant at a tourist park cabin in Batehaven on 7 October 2020 and have subsequently charged a man with several offences.

About 1pm, Proactive Crime Team Police executed the search warrant and located several items including an alleged taser, prohibited drugs (methylamphetamine and cannabis), and NSW and ACT vehicle registration plates.

The 38 year old man, that was subject to Firearms and Prohibited Weapons Orders, has been charged at Batemans Bay Police Station with Use prohibited weapon contrary to prohibition order, two counts of Possess prohibited drug, Goods suspected stolen, Drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, Use unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and motor vehicle with unauthorised plates.

He was bail refused and will face Batemans Bay Local Court on 8 October 2020.
