2EC & Power FM’s Annual Radiothon supporting the Far South Coast Surf Life Saving Branch.

This year the 2EC & Power FM’s Annual Radiothon will be doing it for the Red ‘n’ Yellow, and in particular, the Far South Coast Surf Life Saving Branch. This branch takes in 7 clubs from Batemans Bay in the north, to Pambula in the south, and has over 2500 members covering 230km and 184 beaches. The branch not only patrols our beaches, they also provide emergency call outs 24/7 throughout the year.

2EC and PowerFM, with your help, will raise much needed funds for this important volunteer service, who rely heavily on donations in order to equip the volunteer lifesavers with the most up to date equipment and provide vital opportunities for member development.

Money raised will also enable the branch to continue with their ‘Same Wave’ program. Assisting those in the community with additional needs to share their love of the water with lifesavers and community volunteers, ensuring that “the beach is for everyone”. Their carers and families also benefit from the Saturday morning respite down at the beach.

The 35th 2EC & POWER FM Red ‘n’ Yellow Radiothon held this weekend over Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th November 2019 will run from 6am to 6pm on both days.
