222 Army Cadet Unit turns 30

Congratulations to the 222 Army Cadet Unit - South Coast - Eurobodalla - who recently celebrated their 30th Anniversary.

Member for Bega, Fiona Phillips MP along with Dr Michael Holland MP - Member for Bega and Eurobodalla councillor, Anthony Mayne, attended the the Unit's Formal Dining in Night at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club sharing the night with Colonel White, Officer Commanding Australian Army Cadets - New South Wales Brigade, and WO1 Robert Williams, RSM Australian Army Cadets - New South Wales Brigade.

Councillor Mayne said "Great to learn a bit about the Cadets, especially that they are a community-based youth development program, focused on building a team environment, on improving communication skills, and helping the team to become responsible members of the local community".
