Terry Lunn and Barry Hoban take out Vets Golf Event

On what was one of our colder mornings a field of 56 players registered for the 2 Person Team Stableford Multiplier event, a real test of each partners ability to score on every hole. Winners on the day were Terry Lunn and Barry Hoban with a great score of 42 points. They were followed home by Gail and Len Rogers on 40 and then Leonie Snodgrass and Jennifer Gray on 36 on count back. It was impossible to split the next two groups, Tim Starr and Greg Thornton, and Des Jackson and Noel Fletcher both teams also on 36.

Balls or chocolates went to Robin and Paul Green, together with Gayle and Ross Macalpine on 35, Jeanette and Ian Miller on 33, and to Shirley and Ted Quinlan together with Peter McRae and Andrew Gordon, both on 30. Annette and Ian Manton took out the Bradman award whilst nearest the pins went to Richard Wharton on the 4th, Ian Miller on the 6th, and Gail Rogers and Lance Shadbolt on the 7th. The Accuracy award was won by Jennifer Gray.
