In a media release from Gilmore Liberal Candidate Warren Mundine titled "GILMORE CAN’T TRUST LABOR" he writes"
"Yesterday we saw why Australians can’t trust Bill Shorten and Labor. “Bill Shorten couldn’t even answer a simple question about the economic cost of Labor’s Emissions Reduction Target and how Labor will achieve it. He spluttered and waffled and then asked for a new question,” Warren Mundine, Liberal Candidate for Gilmore said “The fact is independent modelling has predicted huge economic costs including hikes in electricity and fuel prices, wage reductions and job losses. Business and industry groups have pleaded with Labor to provide details but Labor refuses. “Bill Shorten was also recently caught out lying about Labor’s superannuation policy, saying there would be no new taxes on super when Labor’s plan is to hit the sector with $37 billion in new taxes over the next decade.” “Yesterday Labor deleted details of its housing tax and rent tax from its website. It’s running scared. “All of this shows people in Gilmore can’t trust Labor or Bill Shorten. “Only a Morrison Liberal Government can be trusted to deliver a stronger economy.” ******************************************************************************** Editor: The Beagle is happy to publish media releases that serve to communicate actions or intentions of candidates however when media releases such as the one above that just calls out another party and offers nothing in the way of any counter policy or intention is provided we will call it out for what it is - narky.
