Andre Jones has a goal. At 10am on the March 10, 2019 he commenced a solo run around Australia, a trip that will total 15,134kms, an estimated total of 343 days There is no one with him to cook, set up camp or apply first aid. He is doing this alone. Using a four-wheeled buggy - ‘Intrepid II’ - to house all his gear for the next yea Andre is generally relegated to roads and preferably sealed. His route through he South Coast has been via the Highway running yesterday from Bega to Tilba and today running the highway up to Moruya.

The Australian organisations I’m representing do great work across all of the community, hindered mostly by lack of funds. "My goal is to raise $60k — a sum of $1 per kilometre for each charity. A real bargain! "Secondly, and in the words of Sir Edmond Hillary, “Because it’s there” — only 10 people have ever run around Australia (some more than once), and while this is a great feat in itself, they all had a support crew of some sort.
