Multiple Golden Guitar winner and horseman extraordinaire Tom Curtain is bringing his Katherine Outback Experience horse and dog training show to Moruya on Sun 10 Feb!


Katherine Outback Experience (KOE) is an outback show that celebrates life on the land through real horse-starting and working dog demonstrations entwined with live music and humorous bush tales. KOE won the 2018 Tourism NT Awards for best Tourist Attraction and best Visitor Experience.Owner/ operator Tom Curtain is also an acclaimed country music artist. In November 2017 he released his third album ‘Territory Time’ which debuted at No.1 on the Australian iTunes Country Music Charts. The first single released from the album, ‘Never Never Land’, a duet with Luke O'Shea, went on to win Heritage Song of the Year and Video Clip of the Year at the 2018 Tamworth Country Music Festival Golden Guitar Awards.More recently, Tom was awarded the prestigious 2018 Australian Independent Country Music Artist of the Year Award together with Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year (Territory Time) and Single of the Year (Never Never Land) at the Southern Stars Australian Independent Country Music Awards. Moved by the tragic passing of Amy ‘Dolly’ Everett who took her young life after being bullied, Tom put pen to paper and released the single ‘Speak Up’ with Sara Storer. All proceeds from the sale of the song are going towards Dolly’s Dream in which Tom is an ambassador.The show is based in Katherine from April to the end of October over the ‘Dry Season.’ Over the Wet Season, the team hit the road. After the success of the 2017 Territory Time Tour through regional WA tour, the team have decided to head east and will be touring the show and music through regional QLD, NSW and VIC from December 2018 to Mid-March 2019. Wear appropriate clothing for an outdoor event. Tickets: Adult 18 yr+ $30.00 Student 6-17yr $15.000 Kids 5yr & Under at the time of the event are free
