Dogs On Beaches : A reminder of places and times

Visitors and locals are reminded to observe the Dogs On Beaches signs as there have been widespread reports of dogs off leads, in the wrong areas at the wrong time and pooing everywhere while their owners fail to pick up the droppings. "At the moment the shire is at saturation point with humans so if everyone can be a little more mindful of the guidelines for dog control it will make it a nicer holiday for everyone" said everybody. There are many areas in the Shire where dogs can be exercised including our beaches. Below is a list of Prohibited Beaches, Shared on and off leash beaches and 24 hour off leash beaches
