2019 Fibre Fest is on its way

GET INVOLVED IN THE 2019 FIBRE FEST

The 2019 Fibre Fest will be held at the Narooma School of Arts Precinct from 4 to 9 October 2019. Everyone is welcome to get involved in these six days of fibrous colour, fun and friendship.  There is something for everyone no matter what your skill level. The program includes a Fine Fibre exhibition; masterclasses in traditional basket weaving, loom weaving and indigo dyeing; drop-in fibre craft workshops including crochet and felting; a market place of handmade unique crafts for sale; and a very special fibre related film screening which will warm your heart.

All fibre and textile artists are invited to enter up to 2 pieces to the Fine Fibre Exhibition and/or up to 10 pieces for sale in the Market Place. Entries are due in late September. Entry forms are available at naroomaartscentre.com.au/school-of-arts-studios

To make your Masterclass bookings and purchase your film screening tickets go to: facebook.com/NaroomaSchoolofArts or naroomaartscentre.com.au/school-of-arts-studios or call 0400 442 945. Places are limited, so please book in early.

Volunteers to help out across the six days are also welcome... and all the jobs are fun!

There will be a Fibre Fest Working Bee on Saturday 31 August from 10am – 3pm at the Narooma School of Arts Studios (behind the Kinema). All are welcome to come and help with yarn-bombing installations and other fun fibrous preparations… or please just drop-in to find out what it’s all about.
