Diesel spill on Moruya River

Fire and Rescue NSW Station 384 Moruya report that yesterday, Christmas Day, at 0747am, fire trucks P384 and P384s were called to hazmat incident on the Moruya River.

There was a large diesel spill from a vessel on the water surface. Hazmat 217 from Batemans Bay attended with their boat and placed booms around the leaking vessel. RMS and waterways were notified of incident to follow up.
