Durras the puggle

Sandy Collins of Mid South Coast WIRES reports that cutie has been rescued by having been found disorientated near Bawley Point, wandering on and off the road. He has been named Durras and is approximately 4-5 months old and still reliant on his mum for milk. The good news is in the last 12 hours Durras had a big drink of milk from his mum and that can last him 2 days before he needs another feed. Sandy said "Tomorrow he will be off to caseys beach vet for an X-ray to make sure all his bones are fine as it’s hard to physically check a spiny echidna, even if his spines are only just erupting. He scratches a lot as the spines coming thru are quite itchy. He is around 600g heavy and fits into the palm of your hand. This is the second puggle we have rescued in 3 years so they aren’t common."
