Tackle World Fishing report for Nov 30th


Your up-to-date fishing report from the team at Tackle World Moruya Moruya River The rain has stirred things up in the estuary and it should make for some good fishing over the weekend.Reports of flathead and whiting coming In from the bridge flats on a high tide. Surface lures like Bassday Sugapens have caught both species. Baits like prawn's, yabbies and poddy mullet are also working well.Bream are being caught around the oyster leases in the back waters, Zman grubs and Gulp crabbys have been the stand out soft plastics.Quarry wharf is producing a variety of species including tailor, bream, trevally and flathead. White bait, blue bait and tuna fillets have all been good baits. Tuross River Good numbers of flathead are being caught around the boat shed targeting the drop off to the channel with soft plastics like Gulp twin tail minnows in nuclear chicken and the baitfish coloured Daiwa double cluthces. Drifting baits like blue bait and pillies has also been productive.Most of the oyster leases have been fishing very well for bream on a variety of lures including Jackson poppers, Atomic hardz and Zman grubs. Muddy prawn and motor oil colours working well. The odd mulloway has been caught down the front and live baits on the slack tide has been the key to success. Rocks and Beaches Some nice bream, flathead and whiting are coming in off beaches in Moruya, Tuross and Congo. Pippi's and beach worms have been the bait of choice this past week.Pedro Point and Congo have fished well for salmon this past week with the majority of anglers using pillies and gang hook rigs.Squid are being caught off the rocks around Broulee and Bingi. Kingfish have also been spotted in close both of these locations.Unfortunately due to wind and swell we do not have any offshore reports this week.
