First Time Win for Long Term Tuross Vets

With the threat of possible showers a good field of 59 players entered today's event, a 2 person Ambrose game, with players also vying for the Phyllis Starr tin cup.

Results were as follows:

1st: Husband and wife Bruce and Ann Ware with a nett score of 31.25 on count back.

2nd: Jennifer Gray and Peter McRae also on 31.25.

3rd: Husband and wife Ian and Jeanette Miller on 31.5.

4th: Frank Pomfret and Paul Green with 31.75.

Ball or Chocolate:

Ken Brown and Noel Downie on 32, David Williams and Allen Lee, together with Steve Johnston and Leonie Snodgrass on 32.25, Teri and Steve Swanbury on 33.5, and finally the groupings of Rick Brake and Henry Anderson, Bruce Martin and Dorothy Madden, and Mike Birks and Herb Muriwai all on 33.75.

Bradman Award:

Senior golfers Tim Starr and Les Johanson took out the award this week.


Another of our more senior golfers, Peg Nevett, took out the accuracy honours for today.

Next Week:

Next weeks game is a Single Stableford event with registration in the downstairs sports bar area from 7.45am and a shotgun start at 8.30am.
