Numbers were down for our last run at the 4.30pm time slot due to a light drizzling rain. We welcomed the McDuff family and Olivia Shannohan, who were all visiting the area on holidays. An amazing eight personal bests were recorded, the stand out was Dan Lloyd Jones who bettered his time by 18 seconds to come in at a very impressive 17.32 for the 5km event. We wish Dan Beby all the best as he competes in the Ironman World championships in Hawaii on the 14 October, we look forward to hearing how it goes. With the introduction of Daylight savings this weekend, our start time reverts to our Summer time of 5pm.
