Annual CONGO BONGO moves to Broulee to become the BROULEE BAZAAR: Oct 20th

Australia’s Garage Sale Trail is held this year on the weekend of October 20th and 21st. One of the BIGGIES, The 'Broulee Bazaar’ will be at 27 Zanthus Drive Broulee NSW on Saturday 20th October 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Imagine stepping into a middle eastern BAZAAR with all sorts of HIDDEN TREASURES just waiting to be discovered. Stall upon stall of VINTAGE, designer and boho clothes, new and pre-loved jewellery, exotic scarves and fashion accessories. Explore row upon and row of treasured BOOKS, maybe if you’re quick you’ll score a special vinyl or a piece of ORIGINAL ART. There’ll be strange and interesting gadgets, bric’a’brac, candles, plants and new gifts galore. An amazing array of DELICIOUS TREATS will be available to wash down with a refreshing Morrocan Mint tea, or perhaps a warm and spicy chai, while you lounge back in the cool and colourful CHAI TENT and listen to some LIVE GROOVES. Don’t miss out on this fantastic community event (formerly known as Congo Bongo). Maybe you'll even meet a genie or two! :) As with the previous ‘Congo Bongos’ the 'Broulee Bazaar’ will be raising money for the Refugee Action Collective Eurobodalla (RACE) Garage Sale Trail is one BIG WEEKEND of garage sales that's happening right across Australia on October 20 and 21. It’s an idea to help encourage reuse, reduce waste and minimise our impact on mother nature. Register here. Organisers believe small actions drive BIG change. So while one garage sale on its own won’t make much difference, when hundreds of thousands of Australians get together in streets, community centres and schools to buy, sell and reuse at garage sales over a weekend… well, that’s a whole lotta difference. Garage Sale Trail happens with the support of 146 Council partners and more than 400,000 bargain hunting, reuse loving Australians -who this year will shop and sell at more than 15,000 garage sales Australia-wide Every garage sale has a unique name and its own sale page that provides clues to who's involved, what’s on offer and anything else that’s going down. Likewise, shoppers can search for sales, items of interest and make your own Trail of favourite sales to checkout.Join the movement this October and help spread the word. Let’s choose to reuse.
