Through the Beagle Editor, Dear Mayor Innes, On the one hand you say you are concerned about the "politicisation of Local Government NSW" (Beagle online 13th September) as a reason to leave Local Government NSW. On the other hand, you speak generously about Liberal MP Ann Sudmalis being "instrumental in introducing us to Federal ministers and staffers who can help us secure vital funding and investment for our region" (Beagle online 18 th September). There is nothing wrong with speaking generously about the local Liberal MP or being grateful for Federal funding, but don't you think, given Eurobodalla Council is a political body, in fact, the first tier of politics and government the public has contact with, a level of bipartisanship is necessary in getting the best policy outcomes for the whole Eurobodalla community?
