Calling all young musicians: 2018 St Cecilia Youth Music Scholarships


Entries are now being taken for the 2018 St Cecilia Youth Music Scholarships. There will be 12 individual awards with the two top senior awards being $1,000 each.

Classical and contemporary musicians between the ages of eight and 18 living in the Eurobodalla, Bega Valley and Shoalhaven are encouraged to audition. There is senior and junior age divisions.

The auditions will be held at St Peter's Anglican College in Broulee on Saturday 3 November and Sunday 4 November.

Following the auditions 12 finalists will be announced to perform at the annual gala finalists' concert at St Bernard's Catholic Church, Batehaven on Sunday 18 November starting at 3pm.

Mark that date and time in your diary now as it is always a truly wonderful concert.

Entries for this year's auditions close on Friday 28 September.
