HOW TO PARTICIPATE in Monster Garage Sale for Drought Relief
Step One: Register your wish to participate by phoning Southern Life Church on 4474 0984 on any Wednesday between 10 am and 4 pm providing your name and mobile phone number.
Step Two: On the day, arrive at the Monster Garage Sale venue (ideally between 6:30-7.30 am) and setup your display of the items you wish to sell - ensuring they are all priced and labelled accordingly. You will also need to bring with you a small cash float to aid the sales transaction of your items.
Step Three: On completion of the sale of hopefully all your items, proceed to the ADMINISTRATION OFFICE where attendants will receive all the proceeds of your sales and in return give you a TAX DEDUCTIBLE RECEIPT for the amount you are donating to this worthy cause. Cash donations may also be made.
Step Four: When you leave the Monster Garage Sale venue, please be sure to take with you any unsold items you may still have left at that time.
FOOD & REFRESHMENTS: A sausage sizzle, tea, coffee and canned drinks along with other light refreshments will be available at the venue with all proceeds on the day going to this vital cause.
Please note the following: 1) Limited indoor display space will be available on a first-in first-served basis. 2) Alternatively, bring your own display table and shade. 3) Sale of electrical goods is not permitted unless they have a current ‘Tag & Test’ label attached to them.
