Quick response to Moruya accident by Moruya Fire and Rescue

Traffic came to a halt today in Moruya when a motorcyclist (postman) was involved in an traffic accident at the Vulcan Street roundabout. Traffic was held up for some time clearing around 12:30.

Moruya Fire and Rescue's P384 was called. On arrival a motorcyclist had been pinned beneath a car. Ambulance treated the rider before being removed by P384, SES, NSW Police and NSW Ambulance.

Patient was taken to hospital in a stable condition. Driver of the car was unharmed.

RP217 from Batemans Bay also attended to assist but weren’t required.
