Revenue raising or statistical data gathering

The Editor

The recent Fairfax media campaign to Fix it Now and the local initiative by Teensafe Moruya to Fix the Bloody Highway ( the Princes Highway ) have lost their momentum, a bit of a flash in the pan so to speak. Drivers may have noticed there’s been a high police presence on the Princes Highway in the Eurobodalla Shire for some time now. Has that been a public awareness thing ? Does a higher police presence passist drivers to be more aware of the dangers of the Princes Highway throughout the electorate. If so will will the local Member and the RMS benefit from the reports to be created as a sort of statistical information guide advising/confirming to the authorities responsible that the Princes Highway (and Kings Highway) still require much engineering attention?
