As of 10.00 am today there are currently 61 fires burning across NSW with 19 not yet contained.
Despite strong winds, firefighters are getting the upper hand on two Watch and Act fires burning in the vicinity of Porters Creek Rd, Yatte Yattah (Shoalhaven LGA) and Brandon Rd, Jerrara (Kiama LGA).
