On Wednesday only 48 starter's braved the freezing weather to play in a Canadian Foursomes event. The winner's were the husband & wife team of - Annette & Ian Manton with a 32.875 net. Second place went to - Graham Moore & Des Jackson with a 36.75 net. Third place went to - Wal Williams & Patrick Sager also with a 36.75 and in fourth place it was - Herb Muriwai & Mike Birks also with 36.75. The Bradmans was awarded to - Sandra & Ron Hanlon and the Accuracy drive went to - Len Rogers. Nearest the pins - 4th - John Cox. 6th - Bruce Ware. 7th - Kay Lunt & Rick Brake. Ball or Chocolate went to - Leonie Snodgrass & Steve Johnston - 36.875 net. Teri & Steve Swanbury - 37.375 net. Chris & Ian Wratten - 38.25 net. Gayle & Ross MacAlpine - 38.75 net. Next week will be a single stableford event as well as the Vet's A.G.M.
