Narooma’s latest Book Swap Nook has now been installed on the verandah of the School of Arts Studios (behind the Kinema and BP Service Station).

‘It’s a quirky little Nook made by the Men’s Shed and then lovingly decorated by the Studios’ Thursday Painting Group,’ said Studios spokesperson Suzanne Dainer.

‘We already have some fascinating books available; we encourage everyone to bring a book and swap for another.

‘While there, people might also like to check out the noticeboard about some of the great workshops coming up at the Studios.’

These include a Creative Life Writing Workshop with Dr Rae Luckie starting 30 August (one day a week for four weeks), and ‘A lump of Clay’ workshop with Marg Ingamells (1-2 September), as well as many regular activities including life drawing on a Saturday morning.

More information on the Studios’ website or on Facebook.

Ms Dainer said there is also some interest in starting a book club at the Studios.

Please contact Suzanne for more information about all activities at the Studios studios@naroomaschoolofarts.com.au .
