Stephen Hodge wins stableford competition


Tuross Head Country Club men's Saturday golf competition resulted in an easy win to Stephen Hodge in the stableford competition with a score of 41 points.

Consistent golfer Peter Dugan had a good round resulting in him presenting a card of 38 points.

Bruce Brawn and Martin Booth both scored 37 stableford points.

Colin Houghtons with 36 points won the remaining voucher.

Nearest the pins were won by;

A grade golfer Martin Booth on the 4th hole with 4.28 m.

Leigh Coloe was closest on the 6th with 3.10 m and

Aaron Monopoli won the 7th with 3.60 m.

B grade best on the 4th hole was Lance Shadbolt with 2.82 m. and

Greg Smith was awarded the 6th with 4.95 m.

C grader Stephen Hodge was closest on the 4th hole with 3.70 m.

Peter Dugan won the 6th with 4.93 m and

Peter Johnston won the 7th hole with 1.07 m.

The coming Saturday competition is the monthly medal stroke and putt event.

Thursday's medley stableford was won by Peter Dugan with 39 stableford points from Shannon Mazurkiecz, Peter Martin and Brad Doolan taking out the minor placings..

Nearest the pins were won by Peter Mostyn on both the 4th and 6th holes.

Brad Doolan was closest on the 7th hole.
