From today, children up to the age of 16 will be allowed to ride on the footpath in NSW. If your child rides their bike on the footpath or on a shared path remind them to:
• Keep to the left • Give way to pedestrians • Always wear their helmet. An adult rider who is supervising a bicycle rider under 16 may also ride with the young rider on the footpath.
