Good Scores Combine for Secret Partners Win


On what was a relatively warm early morning 59 players registered for this morning's Aggregate Stableford - Secret Partners event. Results on the day were as follows:

1st: Ian Miller partnered with Des Jackson on 39 points.

2nd: Margaret Downey and Len Rogers with 37 on a three way count back.

3rd: Kathy Crossling and Ross Macalpine on 37.

4th: Rob Nash and Ron Hanlon also on 37.

Ball or Chocolate:

Annette Manton and Leonie Snodgrass, Henry Anderson and Herb Muriwai, Ross Hendy and Ian Manton, together with Jeanette Miller and Bruce Martin, all teams equal on 36 points, and finally Paul Pereira and Ken Brown on 35.

Bradman Award:

The winners determined on count back were Steve Swanbury and David Williams.

Nearest the Pins:

4th: Ian Manton, in the hole.

6th: Bruce Martin.

Ladies 7th: Annette Manton.

Men's 7th: Rob Nash.

Accuracy:

Gail Rogers struck the straightest drive nearest the string line to take out the award this week.

Next Week;

The game next week will be a Single Stableford event with registration in the downstairs sports bar area from 7.45am and a shotgun start at 8.30am.
