Moruya Country Markets Committee Helps Out its Community Yet Again!

Above: -Kay Nash, Moruya Country Markets Secretary and Tony Jaggers, Vice President of 2EAR FM

Community Radio Station, 2EAR FM recently found itself in the position of having to replace one of its ageing broadcasting consoles. Hearing of the need the Moruya Markets Committee had no hesitation in offering them $9,000 towards the purchase and installation of the unit.

On Saturday the 16th of June 2018 this generosity was officially acknowledged by 2EAR FM during an Outdoor Broadcast/ Membership Drive at the Markets. Although the wind blew ferociously, nothing could dampen the pride or the gratitude of the occasion.

2EAR FM"s Vice President Tony Jaggers spoke with the Moruya Markets Secretary Kay Nash live to air at around 9.30 am. Kay also mentioned some of the other community projects in the Eurobodalla Shire that Moruya Markets are involved in and support.

2EAR FM says a huge "THANK YOU" to the Moruya Markets Committee! Volunteers helping Volunteers!!
