Motorcyclist dies after crash – Braidwood


A motorcycle rider has died following a crash in Braidwood overnight.

About 11.30pm (Sunday 13 May 2018), emergency services were called to the Monga National Park, about 2kms south of Kings Highway, about 12km east of Braidwood, after reports a motorcyclist lost control and struck a tree.

The rider, a 56-year-old man, died at the scene.

Officers from Monaro Police District attended and established a crime scene.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
