Open letter to the Prime Minister, Mr Turnbull, Dear Mr Turnbull, We have just returned from Alice Springs where many of the deeply aware people are appalled, shocked and stunned by your decision that tipped the permission to allow fracking in the centre of this great land. Australia's centre is one of the driest places on earth. they rely on the Artesian Basin whose aquifers have taken 100's of millions of years to become saturated with precious water from the northern tropical lands. Are we now going to compromise and poison them in a single generation? Surely we can learn from the experience of the devastation in the USA after fracking. Please rethink and have the wisdom and courage to overturn this decision for the good of the land and all of us. Surely you don't want to go down in history as the Time Minister who sold Australia out. Please rise above the power and pressure the wealthy Corporations are exerting here and all over the world. Help restore the true pride we once had in ourselves as a Nation of Integrity, depth, courage, humour and compassion. A Nation that's - 'Not for Sale.' P. deLaney.
