Want to vote for The Beagle as your Eurobodalla Local Hero 2018? Well you can.

The Council search is on for Eurobodalla’s local heroes in a new shire-wide awards program. Nominations are now open for the inaugural Local Hero Award 2018, which recognises the contribution of volunteers to the community and/or outstanding achievements. We think The Beagle qualifies as an outstanding achievement The Beagle, being a newspaper, can't actually be nominated ..... however as the owner/editor/reporter/bottlewasher, I am happy to accept any nomination you lodge on behalf of all those who make The Beagle happen and for what The Beagle is.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
