River of Art Youth Prize – finalists announced

The River of Art Youth Prize was judged last week – during Youth Week 13-19 April. All entries were then on show in Batemans Bay.

The finalists are: Junior: Shelby Henderson, Lilli Daly, Jade Borg and Jordan Hatcher. Senior: Madeleine Forner, Lily Jackson, Thor Weston and Jayden Pitt.

Finalists artworks will be exhibited again at Cultivate Space in Batemans Bay during the River of Art Festival from 17-20 May, when the winners will be announced.

Major sponsor, Service One Alliance Bank, has also made an acquisition of two pieces by Jordan Hatcher (the youngest competitor - 5 years old). These artworks will go on display in their bank window.

Categories and prizes

Junior under 13 – First Prize $150, Highly Commended $50, Peoples’ Choice Award $50

Senior under 20 – First Prize $150, Highly Commended $50, Peoples’ Choice Award $50
