Dear mediocre Council

Dear Mediocre Council, Why are you so passionate in rushing a 25m pool when we can probably only afford a 21m pool or maybe even 18m ? Your 25m doesn't amount to a pile of rhino droppings at Mogo Zoo because it is a non-competitive length swum, by no-one, in order to qualify for nothing. So why are you so adamant about a 25m pool? Why can't it be shorter. That would be more affordable to you. Maybe 24.9m or 22.3m or some other random dimension because it doesn't matter. If it isn't 50m then the State sporting bodies don't give a toss. Kids don't qualify. End of story. While you are at it why not have a 471 seat instead of a 450 or 500 seat theatre. It doesn't matter really because no-one will be using it. You don't have staff to organise shows, set up lighting, control sound, organise tickets, set up or clean up after. Who is going to run the performance space? More Council staff? Yep, saw that coming. Will there be enough toilets in this new complex for the Shakespearean brigade or will they have to share the toilet stalls with chlorinated drippers flip-flopping from the pool. How are you going to keep the two apart - the budgie smuggling drippers with their goggles and the elderly and the invalids with their zimmer frames. How do you propose to separate the chardonnay sippers talking nuances and delivery from the lime green haired swim squad as they cross the foyer together. Don't bother answering. We wouldn't wont to impose. We are used to mediocrity with this council. Why should we expect anything more? Name and address supplied
