2EC & Power FM’s 34th Annual Radiothon Apr 14th and 15th

2EC & Power FM’s 34th Annual Radiothon, in partnership with the Bega Valley Shire Council’s Mayoral Appeal Fund, will be brought forward this year. The 34th 2EC & POWER FM RADIOTHON for TAKING CARE of TATHRA will be held over the weekend of Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th April 2018 and will run from 6am to 6pm on both days. FULL LIST OF ITEMS TO BE AUCTIONED HERE They are coming together as a community to raise money to help Take Care of Tathra after the 18th March Bega-Tathra fire ripped through the town in a matter of hours.

The seaside village of Tathra is one of our South Coast’s most beautiful locations, frequented by locals and visitors all year round. The tightknit township has a population of 1,600 - consisting of 981 homes plus businesses. 69 family homes were destroyed & 39 homes damaged. Some local businesses have also been destroyed. The whole town was in lock down for days. This meant people were displaced and businesses shut down. It will take a great deal of community help to get the small village that is loved by many people far and wide back to its glorious self. The 34th 2EC & POWER FM RADIOTHON for TAKING CARE of TATHRA will be held over the weekend of Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th April 2018 and will run from 6am to 6pm on both days.
