YOU SCRATCH MY BACK BUT I WONT SCRATCH YOURS
How many more years do the residents of Eurobodalla have to put up with contemptuous and dysfunctional Council?
Too many decades have gone by with ineffective Councillors being mere puppets to the staff and merely warming seats and beating their own chests.
Council have been requested many times for reports which are owned and paid for by the Ratepayers, yet they refuse to supply them.
Councillor, what are you doing if anything to facilitate cooperation with the community?
What happened to all the chest beating prior to the election of how the Shire needs change? Appears to have been a lot of hot air and noise.
To the one or two Councillors trying to represent the community against the stonewall of secrecy, obstruction and self imposed bureaucracy by unelected staff we thank you.
It's way past time this council was independently audited and investigated to have the truth exposed and perpetrators (if any) held accountable so the Shire can be set free of the bondage and ongoing contempt, mismanagement, jobs for the boys, idiotic decisions, wasting money on stupid consultants all because the council are to deaf and pig headed to listen to their employers, THE RESIDENTS.
It's past time to prune the petrified dead wood so ingrained in the councilors and council and move forward.
Councillors, if your not prepared to serve the community as they elected you to do, then please move aside and let ones capable step in.
Time to stop the back scratching and get a truck load of new brooms to clean out the garbage.
