Reports are coming in of a young girl drowning following the capsize of a boat with six people on board near the Moruya Bar this morning. @MarineRescueNSW alerted via Twitter that volunteer crews were responding to a report of a boat overturned on the Moruya bar. The rescue vessels Narooma 30, Batemans 30 and Tuross 20 have been activated.
Reports indicate the vessel was had two adults and four children aboard.
