Tomakin history signs officially unveiled at Melville Point


Next time you visit Tomakin take note of their new history signs located at Melville Point, Jack Buckley Park and adjacent to the Kingston Place Toilet Block . The signs have now been officially unveiled by Member for Bega Andrew Constance and mayor Liz Innes of Eurobodalla Council With historical content sourced from Mark Young’s book Tomakin: The Undiscovered History the Tomakin Community Association (TCA) commissioned Geoff and the team at Bay Signs to make the three signs with a grant from the NSW Government.

The TCA invited the public to attend the formal unveiling of the Tomakin history signs at Melville Point and invited Andrew Constance to unveil one of the signs as a way of recognising the State grant.


There are still some from the first production run of "Tomakin: the Undiscovered History" left to purchase so be quick if you want a copy. Contact Tomakin Community Association.
