Arts Alive


Come on down to St John's Red Door Hall, St John's Way, Moruya, Saturday 17 March at 6pm, and listen to authentic home-grown music from the likes of Jeff Aschmann, Ron Callaghan, Richard Cooke and Sarah Cowan. The Deep River Choir is hosting a free community singalong and afternoon tea on Sunday 18 March in Moruya Scout Hall, Shore Street, Moruya, 3pm to 5pm. All ages welcome to come along and enjoy the fun of singing easy, beautiful songs in a group, with lovely harmonies; guest conductor will be Bega based Geoffrey Badger — more info drchoir@gmail.com

A call to all mosaic artists and crafters to participate in the River of Art collaboration project! Mosaic with any material, taking the 2018 River of Art theme, Land of Many Waters, as inspiration. Contact Carol for a 30cm x 30cm marine ply board for just $5 (note that mosaic designs must not overhang any side of the board). All mosaics submitted will be hung in the Montague Room, Club Narooma. Mosaics can be for exhibition only or for sale (commissions of 15% will be payable to River of Art). Deliver your mosaic to Carol in Narooma by 5pm, Monday 14 May.
