The Beagle Editor, Is the Batemans Bay Bridge going ahead or are we getting short changed? The RMS bridge project Manager was seen today in Nowra spruiking the RMS position for their local bridge replacement. Has he lost focus or does that bridge get preference to our Batemans Bay bridge? Just maybe there will be a scheduled delay in our bridge, either to consider alternative designs in light of the backlash that is now being felt over the 12m clearance that will discourage all but a tinny from passing adding to the building questions around off-ramps, traffic congestion, piers causing erosion and anticipated environmental damage. Maybe they wait until the resistance drops off and the state elections have past...... Just a thought.
