Animal Welfare League March 11th at Bodalla

The Animal Welfare League promotes responsible pet ownership and encourages all pet owners to de-sex their dogs and cats. To that end we issue de-sexing vouchers to those on a pension or with a concession card so that the majority of the cost is taken care of. We also re-home unwanted and unloved pets, keeping them in our foster carers’ homes until a new home can be found. All this costs money so apart from our annual Tailwaggers Walk in September, the Annual Giant Garage Sale in March is our biggest fundraiser and…..yes…..it is this weekend!

We will be in the Memorial Hall in Bodalla from 10am until 4pm on Saturday 10th to receive unwanted goods that we can sell. We have an electrician ready to tag any electrical items. If you are unable to get to the Hall to drop off goods, please phone 0409 851 791 and we will do our best to organise a pick up.

The doors open at 8.30 on Sunday 11th and we intend to close at 1.30pm so come early to get a good bargain. This is a usually a sale with quality items so please come along and support us.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
