FAMILY CARAVAN HOLIDAY COMES TO AN ABRUPT END

A Nowra family are very thankful tonight after their Ford Ranger and caravan were struck by a small truck on the Princess Hwy near Termeil. The family had just set out for a caravan adventure of a lifetime around Australia when it is believed a small truck has crossed the wrong side of the road totally destroying the family car and caravan.

The accident partially blocked the highway for a few hours later this afternoon.

The family have all been discharged from hospital tonight suffering only very minor injuries and shock whilst the driver of the truck was conveyed to Milton hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police ask all drivers to take extra care in the wet conditions
