Helicopter rescue at Richmond Beach

Lifesaver 23 has located a missing man on a rock ledge north of Richmond Beach (which is north of Maloneys Beach).

Foot access for rescue teams was not possible. A helicopter Rescue Crew was winched in to treat and rescue the man. ‏ The male ws found to have significant injuries after falling more than 10 metres from the top of a cliff, but is conscious and was able to chat with the rescue crew. The crew stabilised him whiley awaiting the return of @tollambulance helicopter. The man was lifted and flown to hospital.
