Eurobodalla Photographic Club – first meeting in 2018 clicked off successfully!

The first meeting of the year for the Eurobodalla Photographic Club clicked off Tuesday 23rd January 2018 with a few changes to the “normal” routine of having both projected images and printed images. The club’s committee had decided to only have one or the other in a bid to have a bit more time for other things like tutorials, workshops or simply catching up with each other. After some initial technical difficulties a 20-minute segment of the Moruya Hospital DVD was viewed as members had not yet seen the DVD Colin Pass had put together with images from the Eurobodalla Photographic Club members and Narooma Camera Club members for the Moruya Hospital – it is currently showing in the waiting room at Moruya Hospital. Everyone thought Colin had done an absolutely great job.

Then members images were shown from the Glow Wand Activity at the meeting on 28th November 2017. It was agreed that this was an enjoyable activity and that we would like to repeat it. After a cup of tea, some yummy homemade goodies and catching up with everyone it was time for members to vote for their favourite printed images on display. January’s competition category was Open and printed only.

And while Heath tallied up the winners, members was put in groups and was to critique a group of the images on display. After some discussion, a spokesperson from each group gave a short account of the critique to the other members.

Winners for the January competition are:
