BATEMANS BAY

Batemans Bay Police stopped a Holden Commodore at 12:40 Sunday 21/01/2018 on Maloneys Drive, Maloneys Beach.

The 25 year old female driver was subjected to roadside testing for alcohol and drugs. She tested positive to methylamphetamines.

The 35 year old male supervising driver was tested and also tested positive to methylamphetamines.

They were both arrested at the scene and taken to Batemans Bay Police Station for secondary testing with laboratory results pending.

They both received 24 hour prohibition notices for driving.

The learner driver also was caught with a suspended learner’s licence and will face legal charges.
