Far South Coast LAC NSW Police Force Release


BATEMANS BAY Batemans Bay Police have charged a 21 year old man from Merimbula following an incident in the Batemans Bay CBD on Tuesday 9 January 2018. About 11:40am, the man is alleged to have produced a knife in a shopping centre and threatened another male. He was later located in Orient Street and arrested by police. He was charged with three offences including assault and possess/use a prohibited weapon and was bail refused to appear at Batemans Bay Local Court on 10 January 2018. Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au/ Information you provide will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
