BATEMANS BAY Batemans Bay Police have charged a 21 year old man from Merimbula following an incident in the Batemans Bay CBD on Tuesday 9 January 2018. About 11:40am, the man is alleged to have produced a knife in a shopping centre and threatened another male. He was later located in Orient Street and arrested by police. He was charged with three offences including assault and possess/use a prohibited weapon and was bail refused to appear at Batemans Bay Local Court on 10 January 2018.
