Responsible fishing around oyster leases

As part of the program to maintain access for recreational fishing, DPI has produced a short video promoting responsible fishing around oyster leases.

The video is currently running on their Facebook page featuring some neat drone footage and cool underwater shots of feeding bream.

This project was funded by the Recreational Fishing Trusts and is part of a campaign designed to maintain access to lease areas (which as most of you know are great fishing spots) by working with the oyster industry to promote responsible shared use of estuarine waterways.

The post will hopefully work in regards to advising fishers on how to fish safely and responsibly around leases plus inform the oyster industry and the general public about how important these locations are to the recreational fishing sector.
