Carols in the Eurobodalla


BODALLA: The Nine Lessons and Carols: Friday December 15th from 7pm at All Saints Anglican Church, Bodalla (for a 7:30 start). NELLIGEN Christmas Carols—Friday 15th Will be held in Nelligen Mechanics Institute Hall 6.00pm for 6.30pm, followed by a barbeque. All welcome - Santa will be visiting.

BERMAGUI: CAROLS IN THE PAVILION: Saturday December 16th from 8pm in the Windsong Pavilion

LONG BEACH: Carols at Long Beach: Saturday December 16th from 5.30pm at Sandy Place Reserve, Long Beach.

MORUYA: Moruya Carols by Candlelight: Sunday December 17th from 5pm at Riverside Park, Moruya.

NAROOMA: Narooma Carols by Candlelight: Sunday December 17th from 7pm at NATA Oval, Narooma.

TOMAKIN: Tomakin Carols by Candlelight: Monday December 18th from 6pm at Tomakin Sports and Social Club, Tomakin. In event of bad weather the event will be hosted in the main lounge.

TUROSS HEAD: Carols on the Green: Saturday December 23rd from 7.15pm @ the old Tuross Head Golf Club (Mens Shed). The combined local churches and community are hosting a Handel's Messiah Christmas Celebration at St Bernard’s Church, Batehaven, on 17th December. Welcoming will start at 4.30pm, the celebration will start at 5.00pm, and a BBQ will follow from 6.00pm. Four soloists and a choir of forty voices will lead the celebration of Christmas with Handel’s Messiah excerpts, carols and Christmas bible readings. Fiona Jones is the musical director, with Phil Cullen on piano and Andrew Morton on cello. It is FREE for children (including the BBQ), FREE for adults attending the celebration only, and $5 per adult for the BBQ. Tickets for adults for the BBQ are available from Vinnies shop, Orient St, Batemans Bay open 7 days. A Carolly Chorally Christmas Service As Christmas Day gets closer, The Uniting Churches of the Eurobodalla will be presenting two services filled with carols, choirs and song.On Sunday 17th December at 9am in Batemans Bay the soloist will be Andrew Pond, and the church choir will be led by Rob Somerville.Later that morning at Moruya Uniting Church at 11am, the soloist will be Stefanie Foster. Each service will feature a rendition of carols and spirituals by The Rusty Pipes, a Barbershop Quartet made up of 4 retired teachers with glorious voices, taught and accompanied by Christine.As always, everyone and anyone is welcome to attend. You will get to sing some favourites too.
