Peter Pan. The Eurobodalla Chapter - the next Red Door Theatre production

Peter Pan Sails into the Eurobodalla The play, "Peter Pan. The Eurobodalla Chapter" is an original play, written by our very own director, Linda Heald. The play combines a couple of wonderful themes - the Eurbodalla and of course, Peter Pan, Hook, the croc, Wendy & a lot of fun. The play highlights our Shire as the wonderful characters make their way through Narooma, Moruya and other towns in search of treasure; but why are the townsfolk talking like pirates! Ever wondered what future awaited Peter Pan! A few years have now passed since Pan and the Neverland adventures. So come along and find out what happens to Pan and the gang as they sail into the Eurobodalla. With live music and a cast of 18, this promises to be a rollickingly good time for the entire family in the wonderful Moruya Performing Arts Centre, Queens St. This is the second play put on by the newest theatre company on the South Coast. Formed in 2016, the Moruya Red Door Theatre crew is a community theatre company. The writer and director, Linda, lives in Narooma and this is her second play that she has directed with the Moruya crew. "Community theatre is only possible with wonderful local support. The interest in this play is really exciting. So many people who came to our first play have been asking what was next. So come along and enjoy a night or a matinee performance in Moruya" said Linda. The play's producer, Anthony Mayne, said that the level of support by the community and the business sector has been a wonderful gift . "Community theatre is a celebration and is only possible when many hands pitch in to lighten the load. We are so looking forward to putting on this play for our community and encourage people of all ages to come along enjoy themselves." Anthony, who played the baron in the Red Door's debut production, will once again tread the boards, though is keeping quiet about which role he has been cast in. 3 Performances for the Public on: Friday 8 Dec at 7pm & Saturday 9 Dec 2pm and a Matinee & 7pm Check out the poster for details.
