The exquisite works of Frances Luke at Gallery Bodalla

Frances Luke returns to Gallery Bodalla on 2 November with a beautiful new collection of oil paintings, etchings, woodcuts and linocuts. All are welcome to attend opening drinks with Frances, Saturday 4 November at 3pm, with the beautiful guitar sounds of Geoffrey Potter. The beauty of the cliffs, ocean and estuaries surrounding Mossy Point continue to be Frances’ inspiration. With this inspiration and her high degree of artistic and printmaking skills, Frances has created an exquisite show. Moving from Brisbane to Mossy Point 10 years ago, Frances has worked and exhibited in Japan, Europe, UK, Quebec to Bulgaria, and Australia wide, over a 30 year long career. She is an intuitive artist with an acute awareness of the details we sometimes overlook. These details weave a hint of a story into each of her works and reveal the inspiration she gains from the environment and the people around her. The exhibition runs through to Sunday 10 December. Gallery Bodalla is located in the heritage Post Office at Bodalla and is open Thursday to Sunday 10.30am to 4pm.
