Bruce Martin takes out the Scoty


Tuross Head men's golf Scoty stable ford competition resulted in an easy win for Bruce Martin when he scored a high 43 stableford points.

He was followed by Brenden Taylor with 41 points, Trevor Jones 40 and Mitchell Smith and Bruce Lidbury on 38 points.

Aaron Monopoli won the Golden Shot award with 1.34 m on the third hole.

Nearest the pin winners were:

A grade golfer Ron Rogers with 3.3 m on the 4th.

Adam Husband scored 1.2 m on the 6th and

Dave Bray was closest on the 7th hole with 4.3 m.

B grade player and event winner Bruce Martin was best on the 4th hole with 4.3 m and he was also closest on the 7th with 2.7 m.

Bruce Lidbury won the 6th with 1.05 m.

C grade golfer John Engliis was closest on the 4th with 22.00 m and

Bruce Brawn won the 6th hole with 4.3 m.

Thursday's medley stableford competition was won by Jenny Wark with an excellent 39 points ahead of Trevor Jones and Rex Wood both on 37 and Terri Swanbury 35 points.

Members are reminded that the coming Sunday October 22nd is the date of the Tuross Head Country Club Annual General Meeting.
